Joana Castilho was the youngest airplane pilot of the world who was born in São Paulo. She learned how to pilot when she was just 13 years old at the Airplane club in Taubaté, it used to be placed in the “ParqueAeroporto” neighborhood . When she was 15, she got a Brazilian Stunt championship award. Because of that she got a flight permission from the Brazilian President Getúlio Vargas hands and then she entered the Guiness Book of records. She was so popular that she has got the title “namoradinha dos ares” (The air girlfriend), and also a popular braziliansoftdrink was named in her honor “GuaranaJoaninha”. She got married with Amarindo D’Alessandro, a former south American skydiving champion with whom she has got four kids.
